Ali Solehdin is a technology executive specializing in bringing new, sophisticated technology products to market. He is a connector of technology, people and ideas, and has led product management, strategy, and innovation across startups, mid-sized enterprises, and large multinational organizations and across various industries including cybersecurity, wireless, mobile, computer graphics, defense and aerospace. Products under his leadership have been used by customers around the world, and received numerous prestigious awards.
He currently serves as the Chief Product & Strategy Officer at INETCO, President at Achieve AI, and on the Board of Directors for crown-corporation Consumer Protection BC, where he also chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee. Ali is also a professional Advisor with the MIT Martin Trust Centre for Entrepreneurship.
Previously at Sophos, he led a portfolio of award-winning cybersecurity products spanning web, email, and endpoint security, launching and overseeing their growth across industries and geographies.
At Absolute, he led the product transformation of the organization into cybersecurity, with the simultaneous birthing and launching of new products, as well as growing existing products through M&A integrations and partnerships with leaders such as Microsoft, Dell, and HP.
Crossing industry boundaries, Ali also previously served as the Chief Customer and Program Officer for the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) for the province of British Columbia, where he led a team of over 250 individuals managing several hundred million dollars of programs.
Ali is a regular speaker at conferences and in the media, and is an active member of civil society. He is on the Advisory Committee for the Governor General of Canada, and has served as President and Board Chair for the Simon Fraser University Alumni Association, Vancouver Chair for the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, Chair for Communications and Publications on the Council for British Columbia, Board Member at the Laurier Institution, and Cabinet Member for the Night of Miracles gala in support of BC Childrens Hospital.
Ali holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science (Honors) from Simon Fraser University, and a MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.
